Contract line item 0001 is for 152 EA Turbine Inlet Case, NSN: 2840-00-225-0953RW P/N: 6847349 Size/Demeinsions: 24 x 14 x 6 inches. Form/Fit/Function: The sturctual of the turbine inlet casing are as follows: six hollow, supporting radial struts interconnect the outer and inner shells. The outer shell mount to the outer combustion casing, and the inner shell mounts to the combustion inner csing and inner casing liner. Six first stage vane assemblies, contained within the turbine inlet casing, provide the stator for the first stage of the turbine. Predominant material: steel.
