This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice serves as the solicitation; quotes are being requested; and quotes shall comply with this notice. Purchase and installation of replacement UPS batteries; six 75kva cabinets (40 batteries/cabinet) and one 20kva cabinet (24 batteries). The following specifications must be met because of space limitations. 1) 12 volt units providing at least 150 amps at the 15 minute rate to 1.75 end volts per cell; 2) Sealed low maintenance type, no watering, non-spillable; 3) Electrolyte, absorbed electrolyte (not gel); 4) Container, reinforced polypropylene container and cover; 5) Low pressure, self-sealing safety vents; 6) Terminals, heavy duty copper alloy; 7) Separators, micro porous spun glass; 8) Float Voltage, 2.25 to 2.30 VPC; 9) Equalize, 2.35 VPC; 10) UL recognized component; 11) 10 year warranty; and 12) Physical dimensions, 75KVA: 10.25" long, 6.25" wide and 8.5" high; 20kva: 8.25" long, 6.25" wide and 5" high.
