Correction Center services in the area of Detroit, Michigan in one of
the following counties: Wayne, Oakland, Macomb or Washtenaw inMichigan.
Concerns having the ability for providing a Residential Community
Corrections Center facility for female Federal offenders sentenced
under various United States Statutes. Services required include
subsistence, care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment to
include furnishing medical and dental treatment. The services shall be
performed in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement
of Work entitled "Community Corrections Center" dated December, 1992.
The location of the facility is to be inone of the following counties
in Michigan: Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, or Washtenaw. A firm, fixed price
requirements contract with a two year base period and three option
years is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days for the base
period of two years, February 1, 2000 through January 31, 2002 is
19,006 with three consecutive option years. The estimated number of
inmate days for the first option year, February 1, 2002 through January
31, 2003 is 9,855. The estimated number of inmate days for the second
option year, February 1, 2003 through January 31, 2004 is 10,220. The
estimated number of inmate days for the third option year, February 1,
2004 through January 31, 2005 is 10,220. The estimated Request for
Proposals (RFP) issue date is Marcn 1, 1999. The estimated Request for
Proposals (RFP) closing date is May 3, 1999. No operating hotel or
motel will be considered as acceptable. All responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. Those
