BACKGROUND: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Roswell, New Mexico, requires a root plow to shear roots below ground to aid in the control of salt cedar. The root plow will be attached to a Caterpillar D7E dozer. DESCRIPTION: Furnish one each root plow with double trunnion and trunnion bearings. Root plow must fit a Caterpillar D7E dozer, serial number 75E2089. Quoters will include a copy of standard product literature in sufficient detail to determine the product submitted meets the specified requirements. FOB: Destination. Delivery date: 60 days after date of award. Delivery must be made on weekdays, excluding federal holidays, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. local time. The contracting officer will be notified 2 days prior to delivery date. Delivery location: Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge, 4065 Bitter Lakes Road, Roswell, New Mexico 88202. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will provide a forklift with operator to assist in the offloading of the plow at time of delivery.
