This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number Request For Proposal (RFQ) 673-55-99 is assigned and shall be referenced on any proposals. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 0782 and the business size standard is 5 million dollars. This procurement is a small business set-aside. The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33612 has a requirement for complete grounds maintenance at it's Brevard Outpatient Clinic located at 5810 Stadium Pkwy., (Temporary Address next to the Florida Marlin's Training Complex), Melbourne, Florida 32940. This Clinic is currently under construction and is due to be complete in March 1999. The successful offeror for this contract shall be able to commence work on March 1st, 1999. Initial duration for this contract shall be through September 30th, 1999; however, there will be four option years from October 1st, through September 30th. Initial start-up of this contract may be in a phase-in type procedure.
