This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). One (1) Each of a Tripod mountable laser sensor head OFV-353-1 or Fully Equivalent with One (1) each lens assembly OFV-QR or Fully Equivalent optimized for scanned measurements. Spot size from 15 micrometer at minimum focal distance to 42 micrometer at 1m distance. Shall have One each of a basic vibrometer controller OFV-2602-S or fully equivalent with velocity ranges 5, 25 and 125mm/s/V. 10V maximum output. 100kHz bandwidth (-3dB). Resolution for 5mm/s/V range is 0.5 micrometer/s in a 10Hz bandwidth. Resolution for 25mm/s/V range is 1.5 micrometers/s and 125 mm/s/V range is 2 micrometers/s (also 10 Hz measurement b/w). Maximum linearity error typically 1% of reading. Calibration accuracy typically within +/- 1%. Velocities up to 2.5 m/s peak to peak. Includes 5m interconnecting cable between laser sensor head and controller, OFV 040 or fully equivalent. One each of a Scan Unit, OFV-303 or OFV-353 or fully equivalent (up to +/- 15% x and y) and sensor heads including scanning mirrors, motors, base plate and housing OFV-042-A or OFV-042-P or Fully Equivalent. A Scan Unit Controller OFV-040 or Fully Equivalent, for a Scan Unit. Contractor must supply an analog voltage input for X-Y beam steering. Referenced part numbers are Polytec PI, Inc. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-09. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3825 and 500, respectively. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Delivery to Langley Research Center is required within 30 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
