The Government intends to negotiate and award a Sole-Source contract for solid waste collection, disposal or recovery of materials or energy from such solid wastes, and recycling of recyclable materials for the Federal Correctional Institution located within the city limits of Sheridan, Oregon. The Government intends to make this sole source award to City Sanitary and Recycling Service, 1850 NE Lafayette Ave., P.O. Box 509, McMinnville, Oregon 97128. City Sanitary and Recycling Service is the exclusive franchisee as granted by City of Sheridan Ordinance No. 1991-4, as amended. This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. The contract will be for a base year with four option years. The contract will include the following services: 1) pick up and empty one 34 cubic yard compactor once per week; 2) pick up and empty one 31 cubic yard compactor three times per week; 3) pick up and empty one 24 cubic yard compactor once per week; 4) pick up and empty one 30 cubic yard open dumpster three times per week; 5) pick up and empty one 30 cubic yard open dumpster once per week; 6) pick up and empty one 1.5 cubic yard dumpster with lid two times per week; 7) pick up and empty one 10 quart sharps, hospital waste, once per week; 8) pick up and empty one 21 gallon container, hospital waste, once per week; 9) pick up and empty one 48 gallon box, hospital waste, once per month; and 10) waste reduction/recycling program.
