Ferte', 202-305-9663 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The
Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency has a requirement for up
to 30 parking spaces with in/out privileges. Requirements: The parking
area must be within a 3 block radius of the Agency headquarters
building at 633 Indiana Avenue, NW (one block north of the intersection
of 7th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue), Washington, DC. Parking may be
indoor or outdoor (uncovered). Preference is for indoor parking.
Parking shall be attended by an attendant between, as a minimum, 7:00
a.m. and 6:00 p.m. OR on a 24-hour basis. The Contractor shall provide
periodic surveillance of the parking lot area and arrange for and
remove all unauthorized vehicles from the area. The Contractor shall
maintain a safe, clean parking area by maintaining adequate lighting,
clearing snow or ice and removing discarded materials (e.g., trash)
from the parking area. Offerors with LESS than 30 spaces to provide
WILL be considered. The period of performance shall be March 1, 1999
through February 29, 2000, with four option years. Offerors may submit
written questions through February 3, 1999 via facsimile to Kathleen
Ferte' at (fax) 202-353-0791. The closing date for the receipt of
proposals is February 10, 1999 at 4 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Proposals shall include a price per space per year, point-of-contact
name and number, payment terms, and a completed copy of the provision
at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial
Items. Proposals shall be submitted to: CSOSA, Office of the Trustee,
Attn: Kathleen Ferte', 800 K Street, NW, Suite 1050 South, Washington,
DC, 20001. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Multiple awards
may be made. Award will be made to the Offeror(s) who meets the
requirements contained herein and who provides the best value to the
Government. The solicitation/contract and incorporated
provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular 97-09. The following clauses apply: 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerors Commercial, 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items; 52.212-4,
Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract
Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders
Commercial Items. This acquisition is being conducted under full and
open competition procedures. The SIC Code is 7521 and the size standard
