Construction is the second phase of a two phase project. The project includes: construction of 7300 s. f. laboratory facility of slab on grade, face brick and CMU cavity wall, steel frame, bar joist, metal deck, ballasted EPDM roof, aluminum windows, gypsum board/metal stud partitions and acoustical tile ceiling; power distribution, wireway with receptacles, communications, outlets, fire alarm devices, and lighting; plumbing systems including supply, sanitary and storm sewer, radiant heat, roof top heating, ventilating, and air conditioning; incidental remodeling of Phase I facility; and two laboratory fume hoods. A prebid conference shall be scheduled in the solicitation documents. Solicitation documents shall be available 02/01/99 and MUST BE REQUESTED IN WRITING ACCOMPANIED BY A NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENT (CERTIFIED CHECK, CASHIERS CHECK,MONEY ORDER OR BANK DRAFT) of $25.00 for each solicitation package, payable to USDA Forest Service.
