fstewart/r9,marktwain@fs.fed.us The USDA Forest Service plans to
construct a potable water system and wastewater system for the Caney
Creek Recreation Area, Angelina Ranger District, Angelina County,
Texas. The potable water system will include approximately 3,000 meters
of 4 inch diameter potable water line and connection to the existing
potable water system at Caney Creek Recreation Area. The construction
of the wastewater system will include one 3 to 5 hp lift station with
an underground reinforced concrete tank for overflow conditions and
approximately 10/3 meters of 4 inch diameter force main. The
construction of the approximate 19,000 gallons per day treatment plant
will be an aerated lagoon with four 3 hp pumps. The aerated lagoon
will have two clarifier ponds and a constructed polishing pond. The
approximate area of the aerated lagoon, clarifier ponds and wetlands is
four acres. The existing mechanical wastewater plant and equipment will
be removed from government lands. The existing site will be restored to
the natural contour. The construction includes the access roads,
electrical and potable water systems and clay liner for the wastewater
plant. The construction of the site includes approximately five to six
acres of grubbing and clearing and construction of a security fence
around the site. Solicitation package may be obtained from Faye
Stewart, US Forest Service, 401 Fairgrounds Road, Rolla, MO 65401 or by
fax request at 573-364-6844. Estimated price range of this project is
