99 -- FIBERGLASS FISH TANKS AND TROUGHS SOL 50181-9-B005 DUE 041399 POC Contact Ann Marie Beauregard, Contracting Officer The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites bids for fiberglass fish holding tanks for Atlantic salmon broodstock, parr and smolts and fiberglass troughs for fry production at the Craig Brook National Fish Hatchery in East Orland, Maine for delivery in October, 1999. Twenty-four (24) fiberglass tanks shall be provided under the base bid complete with support bases, screens, drain pipes and standpipe assemblies. Tanks shall be 18'-0" by 18'-0" by 2'-8" deep. Each tank shall consist of two sections, flanged for bolted connection on site. The supplier shall be responsible for fabrication, delivery, assembling and setting tanks at the locations designated in the new Atlantic Salmon Restoration Facility at the Craig Brook NFH. A unit price shall be established for the purchase of up to twelve (12) additional tanks for the facility. One hundred and twenty (120) fiberglass troughs shall be provided under the base bid complete with support bases, screens and drain pipes. Troughs shall be 1'-2" wide by 14'-0" long by 8" high. A unit price shall be established for the purchase of up to twenty (20) additional troughs for the facility. The troughs shall be set in place by others.
