A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties must be Habitability Shipboard approved by Naval Surface Warfare Center for the items in this solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/soliciation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a seperate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-99-Q-1150 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotations. Line Item 0002: Quantity 5 Each; Item Description: Viewport Computer Desk; Size: 36" w x 30" d x 30"H; Part Number: 2536-SB; Built in locking cpu pedestal, right, roll out keyboard drawer, crt carriage and tie down straps to secure the cpu and crt.
