contractor with expertise in the health and environmental sciences,
including biotechnology and biostatistics, to perform hazard and
exposure assessments at the screening level; to review data and reports
from health and environmental studies and perform hazard assessments
and risk assessment and characterization of new and existing chemicals
ranging from screening level to in-depth assessment; to perform expert
analyses of science issues and questions; to conduct
workshops/workgroups/symposia using nationally recognized experts; to
provide such presentation materials as 35-mm slides, overheads, and
camera-ready graphs and figures; to provide automatic data processing
support in designing and maintaining tracking systems for data
submitted to the Agency and for OPPT evaluations and disposition
decisions; and to support preparation or revision of test standards and
guidelines. Expertise in all health and environmental scientific
disciplines, including environmental exposure and fate, as well as in
data base system design and development will be required to perform
work assignments under this level-of-effort contract. TSCA CBI
clearance is required. Some work may be performed onsite. Basic period
of performance is sixty (60) months with no optional periods. Basic
level of effort is 18,000 hours with up to 117,000 hours in incremental
options contemplated for a total of 135,000 potential hours. A
cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is contemplated. The SIC code for this
procurement is 8732. This is not a small business set-aside, however,
small businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. The purpose of
