SOLICITATION NOTICE. The work includes removing three guy assemblies from a 366 meter guyed antenna tower, salvaging guy insulators, re-configuring the guy assemblies, installing GFE electrical insulators and structural strand, and erecting the re-configured assemblies. The work also includes removing damaged corona rings and porcelain post insulator units from Continental Quadrapost and Pentapost insulators, installing new corona rings and insulator units, demolishing a portion of the helix house roof, and furnishing and installing a bushing support structure. Estimated Construction Cost is between $100,000 and $500,000. Contract duration is 200 calendar days, with an on-site construction time of 90 calendar days. The contract wull be awarded on "Best Value" using the criteria outlined in this solicitation. Technical factors are of greater weight than price factors. Technical Factors are: 1) Experience; 2) Past Performance; 3) Construction Schedule. THIS PROJECT IS UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1799, and the related small business standard is $7,000,000.
