Diplexer Option II SOL N00421-99-Q-1066 DUE 031799 POC Jennifer Alvey, Contract Specialist, (301)757-9074 The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to procure 25 each diplexer option II (K&L Microwave Incorporated, Part Number 13DFV-4510/4850-X200-O) for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Program which currently supports the Navy and Marine Corps by providing logistic support to the fleet users. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with K&L Microwave, 408 Coles Circle, Salisbury, Maryland 21804. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. K&L Microwave is the original equipment manufacturer and the only authorized supplier of the diplexer option II's. K&L Microwave owns the proprietary data rights to the diplexer option II'sv. This will be a firm fixed price contract.
