Two personal services contracts will be awarded for a one year period, with the option to extend the contracts for five years. The assignments shall be at the American Embassy in Lima, Peru with frequent travel within Peru. Responsibilities include providing advice and assistance in implementing international narcotics control projects, especially in the areas of safety and security of USG personnel and property. Minimum qualificatioons include: U.S. Citizen, subject to State Department security clearance at the secret level; high school graduate; ten years experience in the military or law enforcement (preferably in counter narcotics programs); three years overseas experience, which includes security of aircraft prior to departure and during flight, security of American personnel, including training of personnel in firearm use, and protection of civilian and military installations; fluency in written and spoken Spanish; physically qualified to live in Peru and travel frequently.
