Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide all parts, labor, material, equipment and transportation to operate and maintain personnel and baggage screening services at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam Passenger Terminal. Andersen's passenger terminal has an average of 21,000 customers/passengers entering its facility each month. Screening shall be performed in a manner that will allow customers/passengers entering the passenger terminal expeditious service to the check-in counter, while at the same time maintaining the integrity of the Defense Transportation System. Andersen will furnish the following Government owned equipment: Sentrie AT Magnatometer, AS & E Micro-Dose X-ray Inspection System 101zz, Barringer Instruments Ionscan 400, and Garrett Super Scanner Hand-held Metal Detector 11651, (2 ea). The solicitation will be written in accordance with FAR Part 12 for Acquisition of Commercial Items. This requirement is a total Small Business set aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7389, and the small business size standard is $5.0 mil. The performance period will be 1 (one) basic year with 4 (four) one-year option periods. The place of performance is Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Air Mobility Command Passenger Terminal, Building 17002. There will be a site visit on 26 February 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at building 17002.
