The USDA Forest Service requires various fixed wing aircraft services for four (4) locations on the Chugach National Forest, Alaska on a call-when-needed basis. Types of aircraft are straight floats, amphibious, snow skis, or capable of wheeled beach landings. Locations for aircraft are: Cordova, Anchorage, Girdwood, and Seward area in Southcentral Alaska. The maintenance facility must be available in Southcentral Alaska and shall be spacious enough to completely accomodate Contractor's largest aircraft with hangar doors closed. All major repairs shall be done in this facility. The contract period will be one year with an option for two additional (one-year) periods. Multiple awards are anticipated for this solicitation. Evaluation factors for award will include accident/flight safety; past performance; flight crews; aircraft; support capability; business practices; and price.
