The work of this project consist of furnishing all labor, material,, equipment and other incidentals necessary to operate the trolley service between four (4) different sites within the City of Quincy, Massachusetts. The trolley service will be at no charge to the public and will operate seven (7) days a week from April 19, 1999 through November 10, 1999. This is a one (1) year contract with four (4) option years. All vehicles must be at least I trackless trolley vehicle (not a tourist bus), well ventilated, wheelchair accessible and meet all current accessibility codes (ADA) of the federal and state government and all State vehicle safety standards. Vehicle shall not be older than five (5) years or have a total mileage in excess of 100,000 miles. This solicitation is issued pursuant to P.L. Small Business Competetive Demonstation Program, and is open to all business concerns regardless of size. All request for solicitation packages must be made in writing.
