The U.S Army Special Operations Command issued a Phase I solicitation for evaluation of 9 (nine) each fuel cells. These cells will be overhauled and returned to serviceable condition on a a firm-fixed-price basis with Robertson Aviation. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code applicable to this acquisition is 3728. The size standard is 1000. A modification to Purchase Order USZA95-99-P-0011 for Phase II will be issued on or about 7 March 1999. Period of performance will be date of award through 15 May 1999. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The intended source is Robertson Aviation, PO Box 968, Tempe, AZ 85280. Robertson Aviation is the actual manufacturer and possess necessary engineering expertise and technical data to provide fuel cell repairs in a timely manner. Interested persons may identify themselves to the contracting officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is not a request for competitive proposals.
