N -- LABOR, MATERIALS AND INSTALLATION OF 25 POSITION AIR ACTUATED FIRING RANGE SYSTEM. SOL RFQ-462-0010 DUE 032699 POC Dana Crews, Supervisory Contract Specialist (803)637-1340 Contractor to provide labor and materials necessary to fabricate and install a twenty five (25) position, air actuated, computer interface controlled, turning target system. The contractor shall also provide a dual track running target system capable of moving two (2) targets parallel with the firing line over a distance of approximately eighty (80) feet and will be incorporated with the turning target system. The contractor shall design, fabricate and install a system that will provide a target system which will efficiently turn cardboard targets, with a metal target frame, on a permanent firing range which will be simple yet effective. The turning target system will be operated by an air actuated computer interface which will provide precise control over the exposure time, speed and sequencing of a single target or bank of targets. The contractor shall provide and install a complete firing range controller system which includes a computer console, user friendly range control software, a sixteen (16) channel range interface module and an electric hand switch which will be used to control the system from the firing line or from the Range Masters tower. The general system requirements and the products described in this are patterened after the Firing Range Target System manufactured by Action Target of Provo, Utah.
