The Naval Medical Logistics Command seeks sources to provide multi-disciplinary dental care workers at the following Naval Dental Centers: Norfolk, VA; Camp Lejeune, NC; and Parris Island, SC. Services may also be required at other DoD dental facilities located in these geographical areas in subsequent task orders. A personal service, fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract is contemplated. Multiple contract awards are anticipated. Services of a minimum quantity of 20 Dental Assistants, 5 Dental Lab Technicians, and 2 General Dentists at Norfolk, VA; 8 Dental Assistants at Camp Lejeune, NC; and 2 General Dentists at Parris Island, SC are initially required for an estimated period of 3 Jan 00 through 30 Sep 00. The solicitation will include an undefinitized requirement for General Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, and Dental Lab Technicians in the contract maximum and have a five-year ordering period. The minimum quantities will be ordered via issuance of task orders awarded concurrently with the award of the basic contract(s). Subsequent task orders for quantities exceeding the minimum amounts will be competed between successful contract awardees.
