The Department of Commerce proposes to solicit for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type, general ship repair contract for various NOAA Ships in the Woods Hole, Massachusetts geographic area. The current NOAA fleet is depicted on Internet Homepage: http://www.noaa.gov. While work may be required on any NOAA ships (current or future) visiting the area, the primary requirements will be to address dockside voyage repairs on the homeported ships. Currently these include DELAWARE II and ALBATROSS IV. Contractor to provide all management, supervision, labor, tools, equipment and materials as necessary to accomplish general ship repairs. All dockside repairs shall be performed at the NEMFS in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Performance period is from contract award through September 30, 1999, plus 2 option years. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Agency.
