Bell, Contracting Officer, 770/919-5115 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F09609-99-Q-0005 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. The procurement is unrestricted and will follow simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13. The applicable standard industrial code (SIC) for business size determination is 4119 with a size standard of $5.0M. The purchase of services is restricted to those companies listed on the Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) list of approved carriers. The following nonpersoanl services are required: CLIN 0001: Dobbins Air Reserve Base, (Marietta) Georgia has a requirement for 35 each, 40/47 passenger coach type buses with both forward and aft curbside access accompanied with bus drivers for an Open House/Air Show to be conducted during the period 18-19 September 1999. Buses are required to be in place NLT 9:30 A.M. and terminate service at approximately 7:00 P.M. on both Saturday and Sunday, 18-19 September 1999. Buses shall provide a continuous shuttle service of approximately 5 miles round-trip from approximately 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (8 hours) on both days. The successful offeror shall be contacted to attend a site visit and tour the travel route within one (1) week after award. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, shall apply along with Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Evaluation of offers will be in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, based on price. Quotes shall include a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, shall apply with addenda DFARS 252.232-7009, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (CCR). FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, shall be incorporated into any contract resulting from this notice.
