The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse and Prevention (CSAP) through the Program Support Center, ADP Acquisitions Branch plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to Conwal, Inc. to continue providing technical assistance for the National Registry of Effective Prevention Programs (NREP). This registry shall contain implementation and outcome information on substance abuse prevention intervention projects sponsored by all Federal agencies, State governments, foundations, and corporations. The Contractor shall secure a Uniform Resource Locator and shall program the web-site for NREP. This web-site shall be created so that practitioners may nominate innovative programs as well as those replicating established or science-based prevention models. The simplified acquisition anticipated award date is on or about March 19. No solicitation is available. The proposed simplified acquisition action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within 15 days after date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
