NASA Glenn Research Center formerly (NASA Lewis Research Center) plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for: QAX G05 Analog Input Card. 0-5VDC Range must be compatible w/existing Q-line I/O QSS G01 Pulse Input Card. Range must be compatible w/existing Q-line I/O QAH G01 High Speed Analog Input Card. Range +/- 10 VDC must be campatible w/existing Q-line I/O QAH G02 High Speed Analog Input Card. Range +/- 5 VDC must be compatible w/existing Q-line I/O QAO G05 Analog Output Card. Range +/- 5 VDC must be compatible w/existing Q-line I/O QRO G01 Digital Output Card Relay Output must be compatible w/existing Q-line I/O QID G03 Digital Input Card. Range 24VDC must be compatible w/existing Q-line I/O QID G07 Digital Input Card. Range 24VDC must be compatible w/existing Q-line I/O WDPF PHC ISA Interface Kit to be used to interface a government supplied computer w/ISA slots to the Westinghouse Westnet II Highway. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA Glenn Research Center intends to purchase the items from Westinghouse Process Control,Inc. A Fisher-Rosemount Company, 200 Beta Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238. All items on this procurement are designed and manufactured by Westinghouse for use in an existing distribution control system. These are not general purpose I/O cards and only WDPF parts will work in this system. This hardware will be used to maintain the distribution control systems at 10x10 SWT, 8x6 SWT/9x15 LSWT, PSL and IRT at Glenn Research Center. THE AUTHORITY FOR OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)2) The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have [7] days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/ capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the 7 days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
