F -- CESSNA 208B GRAND CARAVAN SERVICES FOR SMOKEJUMPER/PARACARGO DELIVERY SOL RFP49-99-07 DUE 041699 POC Frank Gomez, Jr. 208/387-5632 The intent of this solicitation is to obtain services of one (1) Cessna Grand Caravan Model 208B powered by a PT6-114A engine, flat rated at 675SHP, equipped to meet specifications for field evaluation as a smokejumper/paracargo platform and for use in administration and protection of Public Lands. Aircraft will be primarily based and operated from the smokejumper base at Grangeville, ID, Idaho County Airport for approximately 90 to 120 days (June 02 through September 14 or June 16 through September 16). Aircraft will also spend shorter periods of time operating from other smokejumper. Government will furnish operating crew (pilot/copilot) for aircraft. See Notes 1 and 13.
