This project consists of the construction of approximately 2,850 LF of flood protection, to include wall and dike, along the Aroostook River at Fort Fairfield, Maine. The work also includes construction of a Pump Station at Libby Brook, sluice gate structues, access road and parking area pavements, and a wetland mitigation site. The estimated cost of the work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 540 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed. Solicitation shall be available on or about 3/25/99 at a cost of $50.00 per set. This acquisition is solicited on an unrestricted basis.
