The U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA, intends to contract for the manufacture of 14 cable assemblies in support of the Nexrad Radar System. The cables will be manufactured in accordance with Government specifications and drawings. The cables will be manufactured and delivered to the National Weather Service, National Reconditioning Center; Kansas City, Missouri. The requirement call for the manufacture of 14 types of cables; NSN's 5995-01-462-2279, 5995-01-462-2278, 5995-01-462-2276, 5995-01-462-2274, 5995-01-462-2273, 5995-01-462-2270, 5995-01-4962-2272, 5995-01-462-2269, 5995-01-462-2241, 5995-01-462-2248, 5940-01-462-2262, 5940-01-462-2261, 5940-01-462-2257, and 5840-01-462-2253. Thirty-one each will be manufactured for each NSN. Any manufacturer desiring to bid on this requirement must be ISO 9000 certified. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within 15 calendar days of this announcement. Requests received after that date will not be considered. In addition, all responses to this announcement must include the following: 1) Contractor Name and Phone Number, 2) A brief statement detailing your experience in manufacturing electronic cables, 3) A list of the names and phone numbers of three references whom you have provided like or similar services to, identification of the services provided, contract numbers if any, and 4) proof of ISO 9000 Certification, and statement of ability to deliver First Article within 45 days of any award.
