The Office on Women's Health (OWH) through the Program Support Center, General Acquisitions Branch, intends to award a Simplified Acquisition for Professional Services providing technical program management support for the technology transfer activities of the U.S. Public Health Service's, Office on Women's health (PHS OWH). The award will be for approximately five (5) months. The contractor shall assist in planning ongoing meetings for the Federal Multi-Agency Consortium for Imaging and other technologies to improve women's health. A priority goal of this consortium is to coordinate and encourage cross-government collaborative efforts through facilitated identification, evaluation and transfer of promising defense, space, intelligence, and other relevant technologies. This professional technical service contract will provide support for the future planning, organization, preparation of the proceedings and summary reports for the planned conferences focused on breast cancer. This requirement will allowfor expansion of the PHS OWH technology transfer activities, which requires engineering expertise, to such applications as reproductive diseases (e.g., ovarian, uterine and cervical cancer, endometriosis). For example, this procurement will support a major conference on early diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic diseases.
