The United States Air Force is requesting quotes to provide modifications to Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems in Building 1102D. The work consists of demolition and disposal of piping and related appurtenances, pneumatic and electronic controls for HVAC, installation of new piping, air-handling unit, ductwork, new DDC controls, Testing Adjusting, Balancing and subsequent commissioning of the new and existing HVAC systems altogether and electrical wiring. The project involves all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and performance of all operations required to complete the aforementioned work in accordance with the drawings and statement of work. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The period of performance for this project shall be 116 calendar days. Demolition work and installation of all piping, ductwork and controls shall commence while the air-handling unit is awaiting delivery. Coordination with the Contracting Officer shall be necessary for installation of the air-handling unit and associated controls. The statement of work, contract clauses and Davis Bacon Wage Rate for this project will ONLY be available at the following Internet address: http://www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil. The drawings can be picked up at the site visit, scheduled on or about 31 Mar 1999, or you may pick them up at Building 1305, Third Floor, Hanscom AFB, MA after 28 Mar 99.
