The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a Sole Source Basis from Opticcom Corp., 6046 Cornerstone Court, San Diego, CA Fiber Optic multiplexer/transmissions units. Quantities for the multiplexer/transmissions units are: 8 each Opticom model FMX-48422 L1 IC transmit and 7 each Opticom model FMX-48422 L1 IC receive. These items will be acquired on a sole source basis utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Note 22 applies. The equipment will be used as replacements for existing equipment. The closing date is 9 April 1999 and anticipated award by 16 April 1999 with delivery by 16 June 1999. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN QUOTE AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY (CBD) NOTICE. ALL ITEMS MUST BE YEAR 2000 COMPLIANT.
