a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposal is being requested and
written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number
M67399-99-Q-0028 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The
provision and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-10. This requirement is for the purchase
and delivery of the following item: Clin #0001 -- One (1) diesel
engine driven generator set rated at 100 KVA, 125 KVA, standby duty
120/208,277/480 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 60 hz, 0.8pf, 1800 rpm. Unit to
be supplied and equipped as follows: Weather protective housing with
key locking doors sound attenuated to 66 Dba @ 3'3". Mounted on
structural steel base rails. Unit mounted radiator type cooling system
with blower fan and fan guard, ethylene glycol and corrosion resistant
protection, shipped loose. Dry type air cleaner system. Electric type
starting system, 12 volt. Subbase dual wall fuel tank 90-gallon
capacity with sight gauge, and options as required. AC alternator with
permanent Magnet Generator, single bearing, rotating brushless exciter
design conforming to IEEE and NEMA standards with solid state voltage
regulator capable of = 2 % regulation. Automatic shutdown devices for
low oil pressure, high water temperature, overcrank and overspeed.
Fuses, potential and current transformers for proper operation. 160-amp
main load circuit breaker molded case type. Warranty as provided by
your company, one (1) year or more. Shock mounted, unit mounted NFPA
110 level 1 control and instrumentation panel. Oil drain extension.
Factory tested. Item to be delivered to the Traffice Management Office
(TMO), Bldg 1102, Door 19, MCAGCC, Twentynine Palms, CA 92278. The
following provisions and clauses shall apply: Provision FAR 52.252-1
