(202)307-3069 Provide outpatient assessment and counseling for
substance abuse treatment for male/female Federal offenders in the
Portland, Maine area, held under the authority of various United States
Statues. A Firm-Fixed-Price-Requirements type contract with a two year
base period and three one year options is anticipated. Services for
the base period of October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2001 shall
include services for forty-two (42) inmates as follows: intake
assessment (one per inmate), individual counseling (40 half hour
sessions per inmate). Services for each of the one year options shall
include services for twenty-one (21) inmates as follows: intake
assessment (one per inmate), individual counseling (40 half hour
sessions per inmate). All services shall be performed in accordance
with the Transitional Services Statement of Work "Transitional Drug
Abuse Treatment (TDAT) (Non-Residential) Substance Abuse Treatment"
dated March, 1999. Proper licensing in the state of Maine is required.
The estimated issue date for the Request for Proposals (RFP) is on or
about April 22, 1999. The estimate closing date for the RFP is May 21,
1999. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be
considered by this agency. No collect phone calls will be accepted. No
telephone requests for the RFP will be accepted. Request for RFP
