The ability for all potential offerors to begin preparing, entering and updating their vessel and equipment profile specifications in the CARE Service Module (SM) is now available. User ID and password must be obtained for this process. It is available upon facsimile request to the Contracting Officer (703)681-5621 Attn: John Culmer. The CARE SM database file may contain preliminary data extracted from MARAD vessel files and should be verified and/or updated as appropriate. Each offeror's database file must be returned NLT 1600, 09 April 1999. It is not necessary for the database file to be completed to be returned. It is essential however that the files be returned to be incorporated with the offeror's SM files to be issued with the complete RFP.
