Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to upgrade housing heating systems in the triplex family housing facility located at 712 Pioneer Road in Brookings, Oregon. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: (1) Remove 13 electric wall heaters including wiring and thermostats (4 heaters in Units 712A & B and 5 heaters in Unit 712C). Where wiring is Romex stapled to studs, abandon in place; patch and paint walls to match adjacent surfaces. (2) Provide a central forced-air electric furnace in the garage of each unit (3 furnaces); installation shall include fabrication/installation of an air distribution system, thermostatic control, and electric power to the furnaces. (3) Replace existing 25 KVA transformer which supplies power to the triplex; local utility company, Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative, shall accomplish the replacement. (4) Provide a single new service panel for the three furnaces and individual safety disconnects for each furnace.
