R -- SERVICES TO REPLICATE SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, MATHEMATICS, AND AEROSPACE ACADEMY (SEMAA) NASA/GRC plans to issue Modification 4 under an existing contract for services to replicate the Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Aerospace Academy (SEMAA), a program developed under a partnership between Cuyahoga Community College and NASA/GRC. This program is a NASA educational program for students grades K-12 which expands opportunities and enhances diversity in the NASA-sponsored research and education community. NASA/GRC intends to issue Modification 4 under contract NAS3-98099 to add ten additional SEMAA sites at GRC-designated sites across the Nation. It is anticipated that additional sites will be designated at a later date. Justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared using the sitation of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as its authority. Cuyahoga Community College has the unique capabilities and expertise based on the fact that they developed and piloted this program under a previous contract with NASA GRC; and there were no responses from qualified sources to the original synopsis.
