Haskins-Brewer (312/751-4615) The U.S. Railroad Retirement Board intends to acquire by request for proposals, (RFP), maintenance services for one year and up to two optional years for ADP equipment. The resultant contract shall include both preventative and remedial maintenance. The equipment includes, but is not limited to; IBM 3480 and 3490 cartridge tape drives and controllers, an IBM 3422 tape drive and controller, an IBM 3745 front end processor, controllers, multiplexors, dot-matrix printers, and LAN/WAN equipment (including switches, routers, hubs and servers). Not all equipment will be covered immediately due to existing warranties or maintenance agreements. Maintenance shall be performed at the RRB's headquarters facility at 844 N. Rush St., Chicago, IL 60611 and at the agency's approximately 55 field offices located throughout the continental United States. The solicitation shall require remedial maintenance services with a maximum of two hours response time, seven days per week, 24 hours per day for equipment other than printers.
