DTCG88-99-B-623794 DRAINAGE REPAIR AND DEBRIS FENCE INSTALLATION AT
GROUP SAN FRANCISCO, YBI, SAN FRANCISCO, CA. Only written requests for
solicitations will be accepted. Furnish all labor material and
equipment necessary for drainage improvements and installation of
debris fencing at U.S. Coast Guard Group San Francisco, CA The work
includes, but is not limited to, the following: A) Replacement of the
concrete drainage swale behind Quarters 9 as shown on the drawings. B)
Preparation of the soil and application of seed to the area behind
Quarters 9 as specified. C) Installation of debris fencing as specified
and as shown on the drawings. D) Replacement of the chain link fence
east of Quarters 9 as specified and as shown on the drawings. E)
Replacement of asphalt concrete curb on the east side of the Quarters
9 parking lot as specified and as shown on the drawings. Plans and
specifications may be ordered or picked up in person from East Bay Blue
Print and Supply, 1745 Fourteenth Ave, Oakland, CA (510) 261-2990.
There will be a non-refundable fee for plans and specifications.
PLANHOLDERS LISTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM EAST BAY BLUE PRINT AND SUPPLY
BY FAXING YOUR REQUEST TO (510) 261-6077. PLANS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FROM
THE COAST GUARD OFFICE. Estimated Range is $25,000 and $100,000. The
performance period is 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to
Proceed. The procurement is subject to the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small
business participation. The applicable SIC code is 1629. Small business
size standard is $17.0 million. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION
BEING SOLICITED AND ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES ARE ENCOURAGED TO RESPOND.
For minority, women, and disadvantaged business enterprises: The
Department of Transportation (DOT Office of Small and Disadvantage
Business Utilization) has programs to assist minority, women owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
receivable financing. Anticipated bid issue date is 30 April 1999, with
