This is a sole source requirement for Boeing Aircraft personnel to provide scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and aviation logistics support for the 3D Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Aircraft Group 13, located at MCAS Yuma, Yuma, AZ. The maintenance support will be for AV-8B Harrier aircraft for the period of 30 April 99 through 30 Sept 99. The contractor will provide all labor required to perform the assigned maintenance tasks. All maintenance to be performed under the contract shall be as per OPNAV 4790.2 series and shall be performed by technicians who are thoroughly trained and knowledgeble in operation and maintenance of the aircraft systems specified in the individual skill classifications. organizational level Contractor Maintenance and Training (CMAT) technicians will be tasked by the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13 Aircraft Maintenance Officer (MALS-13 AMO) to support a squadron's maintenance and training requirements. CMAT technicians will work side-by-side with organization squadron technicians and provide training to squadron personnel under the supervision of the Aircraft Maintenance Officer (AMO). The CMAT Logistics Support Representative (LSR) will work for the MALS-13 Aviation Supply Officer (ASO). 3D MAW reserves the right to screen personnel nominated for use by the contractor supporting this program.
