square meter A'la Carte Dining Facility and two barracks complexes.
Each barracks complex consists of two three story 3,200 square meter
barracks buildings, and one three story 1,452 square soldier community
building. One barracks building joined on each side with one soldier
community building forms a single barracks complex. Each barracks
complex provides occupancy for 384 persons. Each barracks building
consists of standard room modules that accomodate 64 persons per floor
for a total occupancy of 192 persons. The barracks primary circulation
is by way of exterior exit balconies. In each complex, all buildings
are grouped around a common use courtyards/patios. The soldier
community building will contain activity rooms, laundry facilities,
individual storage spaces, mailroom and space for common use kitchen,
recreation, relaxation and meeting areas. The soldier community
building will be connected to the barracks by covered walkways and
balconies. The dining facility will provide 452 seats distributed in
two dining areas. The dining area will contain food service equipment,
refrigerators, freezers, offices, dry storage areas, dishwashing area,
food preparation area, waste pulping, a carry out food area and a
receiving dock. All of the structures include reinforced concrete,
structural steel, reinforced masonry, brick, metal decks, steel joists,
metal roofing, exterior insulation finish system, split face masonry,
metal gutters and down spouts, metal railways, sealants, carpentry,
paint, aluminum doors, wood doors, aluminum windows, acoustic ceilings,
ceramic and quarry tile, resilient floors, carpet, plumbing, casework,
heating ventilation and air conditioning, gas piping, interior
electric, underground electrical distribution, fire alarms, lighting,
telephones and related work. The dining facility will use a crawlspace
area as well as a slab on grade for the floor system. Also included is
grading, trenching, excavation, connection to utility systems, paving,
landscaping and signage. A Network Analysis will be required for this
project. Magnitude of the project is estimated to be over
$10,000,000.00. Duration of the project is 720 calendar days. SIC Code
