Notice is hereby provided of the Government's intention to procure selective demolition, construction, and landscaping services to create a small park-like area at the Leo O'Brien Federal Building, Albany, NY. The successful contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials and supervision. The proposed construction includes limited demolition of cast-in-place concrete pavement and pre-cast concrete stairs and accessories; watertight sealing of a portion of building's brick facade; filling of stairways and landings; limited installation of concrete curbing; landscaping, including the planting of trees, shrubs, perennials and lawn. This procurement is open to competition among both large and small business concerns. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The applicable SIC is 1799 and the size standard is $7.0 million. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued tentatively on May 4, 1999. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency. All requests for the RFQ will be provided only in response to written or electronic mail requests.
