Z -- REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF 4160 VOLT FEEDER SOL 541-70-99 DUE 051199 POC Jeanelle Wright, (440) 838-6091 The Louis Stokes, Cleveland, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141 is hereby issuing this emergency procurement to repair/replace the damaged feeder "B" cable at the Brecksville Unit. Work includes, but is not limited to repair of the Feeder Cable -B in main holes, perform phasing check terminations, splices and grounding work. Contractor shall test electrical system, replace high voltage capacitor in Building 4, clean up all areas where work was done and reset the flags on all relays. This project must be completed in accordance with the VA specifications/drawings and OSHA, NEC, NFPA and JCAHO requirements. Solicitations packages shall be issued on April 22, 1999. Prospective bidders must request a solicitation package in writing by faxing request to the attention of Jeanelle Wright (440) 838-6052. Prospective bidders are also encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit on on Monday, May 3, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. in Building 1, Room A104, at the Brecksville Unit, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141 to verify existing conditions, conduct all necessary surveys and make all necessary measurements to establish the extent and complexity of the work.
