The Air Force Clothing Office(AFCO), through the 311 HSW/YACL, Wright Patterson AFB, OH, has a requirement for fabrication, testing, and reporting on a newly developed women's proportioned flyers coveralls (flightsuits -- CWU-27/P). This acquisition includes Program Management, Pattern Development/Modification, Flightsuit Fabrication(approx. 300), Testing, and Reporting requirements. All sources capable of providing these services are being sought. In addition to the information provided below entitled "Capabilities Package", responding parties must also indicate their size status in relation to the applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 8741 (size standard $5.0M). Sources with 8(a) status or otherwise classified as a small disadvantaged business should address their status in their responses. Capabilities Package. PLEASE ADDRESS ALL AREAS. All interested parties should submit a capabilities package that outlines the firm's capabilities in providing all of the above mentioned services. Contractor is required to provided all management and labor required for the functions listed. If subcontracts are to be used, provide anticipated percentage of effort to be subcontracted and whether small or large businesses will be used. The capabilities package should be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet stated requirements. Previous experience in all areas should be provided. NOTE: The flightsuit manufacturer shall be certified by the AFCO in the production of the CWU-27/P women's flyer's coveralls, which requires a sample to be sent to the AFCO for establishment of compliance to FNS PD 96-17 and notes. Teaming and/or subcontracting arrangements should be clearly delineated and previous experience in teaming must be provided.
