Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the basis for this sole source acquisition. It is based on the instrument's capability of making the required measurements for extended periods of time (in excess of one year) in the ocean's hostile environment (temperature, pressure and corrosives). The due date for receipt of qualifications/capabilities from interested firms is not extended.
