(202)514-5438 Provide outpatient asessment and counseling services for
substance abuse treatment for female Federal offenders in Fort Worth,
Texas for female inmates confined and participating in the Mothers and
Infant Together (MINT) program held under the authority of various
United States Statutes. A firm-fixed-price-requirements type contract
with a two year base period and three one year options is anticipated.
Services for the base period of October 1, 1999 through September 30,
2001 shall include services for 40 inmates as follows: intake
assessment (one per inmate), individual counseling (24 -- half hour
sessions per inmate), group counseling (24- half hour sessions per
inmate), family counseling (4 -- half hour sessions per inmate). All
services shall be performed in accordance with the Transitional
Services Statement of Work "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT)
Substance Abuse Treatment", dated May 1999. Proper licensing in the
state of Texas is required. The estimated issue date is o/a May 14,
1999. The estimated closing date for the RFP is June 15, 1999. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
this agency. No collect phone calls will be accepted. No telephone
