and counseling services for substance abuse treatment for male and
female Federal offenders in Florence, South Carolina, held under teh
authority of various United States Statutes. A
Firm-Fixed-Price-Requirements type contract with a two year base period
and three option years is anticipated. Services for the base period of
October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2001 shall include services for
ten (10) inmates as follows: One (1) intake assessment per inmate, 30
half-hour sessions of individual counseling per inmate, 21 half-hour
sessions of group counseling per inmate and one (1) half-hour session
of family counseling per inmate. Services for each of three option
years shall include services for five (5) inmates for each option year
as follows: One(1) intake assessment per inmate, 30 half-hour sessions
of individual counseling per inmate, 21 half-hour sessions of group
counseling per inmate and one(1) half-hour session of family
counseling. Option Year One is from October 1, 2001 through September
30, 2002, Option Year Two is from October 1, 2002 through September 30,
2003, Option Year Three is from October 1, 2003 through September 30,
2004. All services shall be performed in accordance with the Federal
Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work, "Transitional Drug Abuse
Treatment(TDAT)(Non-Residential) Substance Abuse Treatment" dated May
1999. The estimated issuance date for the Request for
Proposals(RFP)200-517-SE is June 1, 1999. The estimated closing date
for the RFP200-517-SE is August 6, 1999. All responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. No collect
phone calls will be accepted. No telephone requests for the RFP will
be accepted. ALL requests for RFP200-517-SE should be submitted in
WRITING to: Elaine Peebles, Contract Specialist, Federal Bureau of
