COMPUTERS AND DATA PROCESS EQUIPMENT TO BE OFFERED BY SEALED BID AT RADFORD AAP Two(2) lots of computers and data processing equipment are being offered on sealed bid. Bids will be opened at 1:00 PM, May 27, 1999. Bids must be accompanied by 20% deposit in the form of certified or cashier check, money order or cash. Late bids will not be considered. Bids without deposit will be considered non-responsive. Lot 1 consists of 4 computer systems that were designed to operate an automated propellant manufacturing facility. These units were designed and mfg. by Foxboro in 1984. There has been undetermined amount of lightning damage to these units and only one of the systems was fully restored to service. Man -Machine interfaces, control units, monitors etc. comprise the majority of this lot. Acquisition cost is $1,830,508 and estimated total weight is 25000 pounds. Lot 2 consists of 2 each Tape Drives, 1 each Keypunch, 1 each Tape Cleaner all by Unisys/Univac; 1 each Decollator,Moore; 1 each Computer, 1 each Betamike, and 1 each Plotter / Printer by Barber-Coleman.
