Sharon K. Miner, Contracting Officer Project involves reconstruction of
approximately 3.8 miles of East Ash Creek Road. Reconstruction includes
clearing and grubbing, topsoil stripping, excavation, embankment, soil
erosion control structures, corrugated metal pipe installation,
replacement of topsoil and revegetation. There will be approximately
10,000 cubic yards of excavation and embankment, 6,000 cubic yards of
gravel surfacing (partially furnished by the government), 350 lineal
feet of CMP, and 5 acres of revegetation. The project is located on the
East Ash Creek drainage, about 20 miles southwest of Chadron, Nebraska,
in Dawes County. From Chadron travel along US Hwy 20 approximately 9
miles, then proceed south along East Ash Road approximately 11 miles
near the road junction of two county roads and near the beginning of
the project. The government furnished gravel is about two miles north
of this point. Contract time is 120 days. Price range is between
$100,000 and $250,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer
