stabri@mail.va.gov. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is
soliciting offers for a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery,
indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to purchase firearms (handguns) for
use by VA Police Officers at selected VA facilities nationwide. The VA
has a need for the 9mm semiautomatic pistol. The pistol shall have the
following safety features as a minimum; (1) double action only (DAO);
(2) have a magazine disconnect type safety be constructed of a durable
material with a finish that is highly resistant to corrosion. All
contractors responding should indicate whether they are a Small
Business, Small Disadvantaged, Veterans-Owned, or a Women-Owned
Business. Any information submitted in response to this notice should

20420. Requests for the forthcoming solicitation should be forwarded
